Learn computer programming the easy way.
Scratch, a colourful drag-and-drop programming language, teaches 7- to 16-year-olds programming by snapping code blocks together to form complete programs. Students can learn all important and complex programming concepts without much trouble when they use graphical, instruction blocks to make a sprite (a movable object) move, jump, dance or sing. With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations. Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.
Bubble Dome's Scratch course will take you from the basics, starting with simple programs, and working through to making complete playable games.
Make some cool games, get ready to run the maze, shoot hoops, break blocks and destroy asteroids!
No previous Scratch experience required.
Each student will create a Scratch account on the 1st day but if students already have a Scratch account please ensure they bring along their login details.
All games are saved with your Scratch account so you can continue to play and develop your games after the course.
